The Most Voltage-Flexible High-Power Hub Motor in the Range
This motor occupies a uniquely versatile position in the All4eBikes hub-drive range. At 2000W it delivers genuinely high performance output — significantly more torque and speed than the 500W and 1000W entry-level systems — while offering a breadth of voltage and wheel size compatibility that no other motor in the range can match.
Compatible with 48V, 52V and 72V battery systems and available in 26, 27.5 and 29 inch wheel configurations, this motor fits a wider range of bicycles and build scenarios than any other single motor option at All4eBikes. Whether you are converting a 29-inch hardtail mountain bike, building a custom 26-inch fat-tyre off-road machine, or upgrading a 27.5-inch enduro frame — the motor adapts to your platform rather than requiring you to adapt your build around it.
Three Voltage Configurations — 48V, 52V and 72V
Most hub motors are designed around a fixed voltage. The 2000W 48V–72V breaks this convention by supporting three distinct voltage levels, each with a different performance and cost profile:
48V — Accessible and Efficient
The most accessible and battery-friendly configuration. A wide range of 48V packs are available at All4eBikes, making this the easiest and most cost-effective way to begin a 2000W build. Performance is strong — considerably more capable than a 500W or 1000W system — with excellent efficiency and range from quality 48V packs.
52V — Performance Step Without Full 72V Cost
Delivers a meaningful performance step above 48V without the complexity and cost of a full 72V system. The 52V platform is increasingly popular for its balance of accessible battery cost and noticeably improved output — faster acceleration, higher top speed and better sustained performance under load compared to 48V at the same capacity.
72V — Maximum Top-End Output
Running this motor on a 72V system unlocks maximum top-end performance. At 72V, the same 2000W motor produces higher peak torque, faster acceleration from standstill and a higher sustained cruising speed than either 48V or 52V configurations. This is the setup for performance-first off-road builds where top-end output is the priority.
Where the 2000W Sits in the All4eBikes Motor Range
The 2000W motor represents the mid-point of the high-performance hub-motor range — above the approachable 1500W systems and a well-defined step below the top-tier 3000W output level.
Riders upgrading from a 1500W system will immediately notice the additional torque and acceleration the 2000W level provides, particularly on steep climbs and high-speed acceleration zones. Those considering stepping up further will find the 3000W 48V–72V motor the natural next progression — it shares the same dual-voltage architecture, making the upgrade transition straightforward.
For riders who want a complete coloured wheel kit at 2000W rather than the bare motor, the E-Bike Conversion Kit 2000W RED and its colour variants are available with pre-built MTX wheels included.
Complete Electronics Package — What’s Included
Supplied with a full set of control electronics covering everything required for a functional high-power conversion other than the rim, spokes and tyre:
No contact wear, quieter operation and significantly longer service life than brushed alternatives. Available in 26″, 27.5″ and 29″ axle formats.
Handles power delivery across the full 48V–72V voltage range with overcurrent, overvoltage and overtemperature protection built in. Also available separately as a replacement part.
Full-colour LCD providing real-time speed, battery voltage, power output, trip distance and assist mode data. Also available separately.
Smooth, cadence-based pedal assist for a natural riding experience alongside direct throttle control. Also stocked individually as a spare.
Direct, precise control over the full 2000W output range — immediate power on demand at any speed.
Instantly cuts all motor power on brake application — an essential safety component at the speeds a 52V or 72V build of this output level is capable of generating.
Recommended Battery Pairings by Voltage
