Our 48V lithium downtube batteries are the most versatile and widely compatible option for eBike conversions — fitting cleanly along the downtube of hardtail, hybrid, step-through, and city frames where a triangle-mount battery isn’t practical. The same proven 48V voltage standard used across the Bafang BBS range and the majority of hub motor kits, meaning straightforward plug-and-play compatibility with most existing systems. Available in capacities from 10Ah to 20Ah to suit short urban commutes through to full-day touring rides. Downtube mounting keeps weight low and centred, minimising handling impact on lighter frames.
